About Aponies

While it is known through cross-breeding that winged Aponies have come and gone from existence, there has NEVER been an Apony with a unicorn horn.

Aponies have a few unique abilities that other ponies lack, since it is impossible without the interference of cross-breeding for one to exist with wings and impossible period for one to exist with a horn they have become more agile than usual ponies are capable of. Able to leap higher and farther than normal Ponies, and able to climb trees and hold things with their tails.

The tail of an Apony is flexible and fur-lined, the length of this limb and the hair-length varies, but males tend to have shorter hair naturally on their tail due to the females having more possum-textured fur whilst the males are more monkey-based.

Apony ears are rounder and larger than normal ponies, the size of their ears can vary as the direction the ridges curve can. They use their heightened hearing and odd, monkey-like sound range to communicate long distances.

Aponies, rather than having a taste for apples like most ponies, would much rather favour berries, bananas or mangoes anyday.
