Name: Claritt (The 'i' is pronounced as 'e'.)

Reason: Ironically Ebonyss named him after the word "clarity" despite his shadow element.

Height: Above Average.

Personality: Claritt is a very solitary dragon of very few words. He initially appears very cold and untrustworthy and downright unpleasant. As it seems nothing impresses him and he belittles those he comes across with his facial expressions alone. He's not hot-headed and is quite intelligent. But he doesn't take the time to work on his social skills. He breaks rules and doesn't give a damn that he does. But he's hardly childish and doesn't care for jokes or pranks. But beneath that stony surface he's got a terrible temper that he saves all for his most enjoyable sin; vengeance. Those who wrong him will likely end up slashed and crippled for at least a week for he is without any mercy. He does have the ability to care but like his vengeful nature it will only be in response to someone giving a damn about him first.

Life At the Academy: Claritt despite his cold disposition and generally unappealing personality has a strong bond with his keeper surprisingly but typically is not liked among others his own age that he meets. He feels the need to stay at the academy and aid Ebonyss whenever he can not through compassion but because he feels in debt to her. He's lived his whole upbringing this way.

Relationship with Keeper: When Claritt was a whelp he was actually a very small and fragile dragon. And it was Ebonyss who was always there to aid him and push him back to his feet whenever he fell. When he suffered from night terrors that relived memories of this awful screeching from back in his egg before he was brought here she'd sneak in and put her wing over him to calm him. He doesn't need such support now for he has grown into a strong young dragon. But he hasn't forgotten Ebonyss' support and would do anything she asked.

Mental Attributes: His will and determination could be called unrivaled. And his loyalty unwavering. His composure is hard to crack and he refuses to give up in anything he pursues. His mind is naturally strategic when it comes to adapting to certain situations.

Mental Shortcomings: He lacks a good amount of patience. As well as the ability to be diplomatic or charismatic. They are traits that simply don't apply to him. He can be manipulated easily if you know the buttons to push.

Physical Attributes: He has the abilities typical to a male Falx Cauda. His body is sincerely covered in double-edged blades and his head covered in horns. He has the capability of a very vicious on land and in-air opponent. His voice is deep and intimidating. His wings are powerful and can accelerate very quickly despite gravity and are formidable weapons as well. Slashing, headbutting, barging and biting and tearing are his body's battle tactics.

Physical Shortcomings: his many claws, blades and spines provide plenty of resistance in foliage and in the air. And his claws are susceptible to getting stuck as well as making grabbing things harder. His clipped membranes make for less endurance and less ability to grab wind drafts, which means he needs to exert more energy to fly than those with developed membranes. He's strong, but hardly anything against something designed to be heavy and powerful.

Breath Abilities:

1. Smog Smother- A pressurized stream of black thick smoke disperses from his maw and upon distance loosens to a cloud of suffocating shadow that burns the eyes. It lingers but only for a short while unless he is consistent with replacing it with more smog.

2. Boggart Shadow- The ability to completely disappear in shadow and darkness save for his eyes. If he wants to be completely invisible he must close them.

3. Pitch Vision- Opposing to Boggart Shadow, Pitch Vision is the ability to see in any level of darkness as if it were as clear as day.

4. Crawling Void- A ball of shadow he can shoot from his mouth in single bursts. It doesn't affect anyone physically besides a push from the force but when it collides with magic it appears to consume it and then dissipates immediately. However much mana it took for the enemy to use that ability will drain from him. 

Combo Breaths:

Zen. Shadow Step- Claritt and Zen focus their energy on each other and can activate an instantaneous switch that teleports them to each other's position to swap places in a battle in a momentary burst of shadow and spirit energy. They must be able to see each other and can only swap currently three times per battle. Claritt's eyes turn silver and Zen's eyes turn black when focused and ready to use the ability.
